a question in my head; can I create a Facebook Contest Chatbot?<\/p>\n<p>And luckily, the answer to my question is yes.<\/p>\n<p>You can create a Facebook Contest Chatbot using Botsify and collect create a chatbot running Facebook Contest. You can add as many questions as you want, our chatbot will collect user answers for you.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_1_Log_Into_Your_Botsify_Account\"><\/span>Step 1: Log Into Your Botsify Account<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>First things first, make sure you are logged into your Botsify account through Facebook. Once you do, go to your dashboard.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #b4e350; padding: 12px 25px;\">\n<h3 style=\"color: white; text-align: center;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_2_Creating_Entities_User_Attributes\"><\/span>Step 2: Creating Entities (User Attributes)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"color: white; text-align: center;\">If you are a Botsify user you must be wondering why I am choosing to create an \u2018Entity\u2019 first. Well, in order to make things smoother for you and avoid going back and forth while creating your main story, I recommend creating an Entity at the beginning of creating your contest chatbot.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Here\u2019s how you will create a user attribute for your main story:<\/p>\n<p>\u2192 In \u2018Chatbot AI\u2019 go to \u2018Entities\u2019 and click \u2018Create an Entity\u2019<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 1582px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/68vnPgy.png\" alt=\"Facebook Contest Chatbot\" width=\"1582\" height=\"392\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Facebook Contest Chatbot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u2192 Type your desired Entity Name, just like I did.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 1010px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/e81VXT4.png\" alt=\"Facebook Contest Chatbot\" width=\"1010\" height=\"404\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Facebook Contest Chatbot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u2192 Then add Entity Values \u2018True\u2019 and \u2018False\u2019. And to enable your chatbot to pick right and wrong answers you will have to create separate stories for both.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s how:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2192 Go to \u2018story\u2019 and select \u2018Create story\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u2192 Add user message and bot message. The entities and correct and incorrect stories that you previously created, will all be added to this main story of your Facebook contest chatbot.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u2192 Create a new story and add your desired keywords in the user message. Instead, will only continue your flow if the user had responded correctly &#8211; or won\u2019t respond at all if the answer is not what you have set up already.<\/p>\n<p>So in order to tell the user whether the answer is correct or not you need to choose the option where they can send any message and bot will reply with either correct answer story or incorrect answer story.<\/p>\n<p>\u2192 Now create your answer <strong>Entity <\/strong>by repeating the same steps as above &#8211; type in the same entity name you created at the beginning and \u2018{last_user_msg}\u2019 in Entity Value.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 593px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/YUE5XNo.png\" alt=\"Facebook Contest Chatbot\" width=\"593\" height=\"396\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Facebook Contest Chatbot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u2192 Now add another plugin called \u2018Typing indicator\u2019. Set the timer as you like &#8211; I recommend no more than 6 to 8 seconds &#8211; this is just to add a little drama to your answer reveal (this step is optional and can be skipped).<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 1203px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/zGIrh7G.png\" alt=\"Facebook Contest Chatbot\" width=\"1203\" height=\"566\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Facebook Contest Chatbot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u2192 Click on \u2018Condtion\u2019 option right next to Plugins.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/mAyhna2.png\" alt=\"Facebook Contest Chatbot\" width=\"650\" height=\"352\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Facebook Contest Chatbot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u2192 Now is the time to use the correct and incorrect stories you created earlier.<\/p>\n<p>\u2192 Let&#8217;s create the correct answer condition first.<\/p>\n<p>\u2192 Choose the story you created as a response to the user\u2019s correct answer.<\/p>\n<p>\u2192 Choose the entity created for the correct answer under \u2018Select Attribute\u2019 dropdown.<\/p>\n<p>\u2192 Select \u2018equals\u2019 from the operator drop down.<\/p>\n<p>\u2192 And finally, type in the correct answer as the \u2018Value\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u2192 Click create and your 1st condition has been successfully created.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 596px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/D1dKahp.png\" alt=\"Facebook Contest Chatbot\" width=\"596\" height=\"460\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Facebook Contest Chatbot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u2192 Click on the plus icon to create another condition for the incorrect answer.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 598px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/PZ6q6wn.png\" alt=\"Facebook Contest Chatbot\" width=\"598\" height=\"308\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Facebook Contest Chatbot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u2192 Repeat the same procedure as above with a few changes &#8211; select your incorrect answer story and under the \u2018Operator\u2019 dropdown select \u2018not equals\u2019 instead.<\/p>\n<p>This condition will help your bot differentiate between the correct and incorrect answer of your Facebook contest question.
